This exciting project is one of the simplest forms of hovercraft which the student can build, comprising of a fan and motor for lifting, a chamber in which the air is formed, and a wide skirted base to provide stability. Each kit is packed with a comprehensive set of instructions and drawings, plus a 'fault finder" checklist. The hovercraft is the most well known of the ground effect vehicles. These machines produce an air cushion on which the craft is supported, therefore there is no contact between the craft and the ground and no friction to overcome. 2 x AAA batteries required (not included).
